Are automation lanes per track or per pattern? They seem to be per track but I was wondering if there was a way to make them unique per pattern… and if not could that be coded in or if that would be unfeasible codewise.
use case: similar or same bassline in different patterns with an automation lane set to filter cutoff… I’d like to make variations by having the filter cutoff automation different in each pattern.
It looks like the lanes are per track but you can have different events per pattern. This makes sense since it shows you the notes on the automation screen.
different events per pattern doesn’t help. I need a different pattern of the automation for a different pattern.

EDIT: nvm, I made two different patterns instead of copying one pattern to another slot and they are indeed stored per pattern…
