Anyone using their Hapax with MiRack (iPad) or VCV?

Hello,

I’m trying to learn modular with MiRack on the iPad and also VCV, I’d like to use the Hapax to sequence things in MiRack and just wondered if anyone else has got this working?

I prefer MiRack as it’s on an iPad and not a PC as I use them all day :slight_smile:

The hapax just looks like a midi device to the iPad and can sequence anything there just fine. I’ve done it with drambo, which you should check out in addition to mirack.

i send midi to reaper whch has vcv rack loaded and any other plugin on my purpose built eurorack module. i also send midi to dirtywave m8 headless running on the same module and mix in reaper with all other sound sources. i also can route midi from hapax to reaper back out to hardware synths then i can line everything up with hapax no matter how much latency one synth may have over the other. i sync my drums by fine tuning the midi clock for the output that has my drum machine connected. its a joy! i can then record all the midi of my performance so its supremely editable afterwards before i render, or i can overdub tweaks to spice it up before rendering.
