Anyone using the Peak with the Hapax?

Hello,

I have a weird issue with my Peak and Hapax on the patterns page, it must be the Peak.

I have a sound I created on the Peak on track 6, if I hit play it plays the sound but with none of the reverb or cutoff settings I have save on the Peak even though on the Peak it shows them attributes as I have saved them, I have to quickly wiggle the cutoff and reverb knobs but a millimetre for it to acknowledge it actually has settings to be using, then is sounds nice. I’m not sure if it’s this particular sound that is the issue, the Peak or Hapax, I have tried another sound and that seem to be ok.

Not sure if there as workaround.

Thanks

Didn’t you accidentally record some automation from Peak to Hapax which causes those parameters to change?

Do you have the assign knobs set? afaik the knob values are sent on project load, and the Peak/Summit instrument definition on here comes with assign settings with default values.

Personally I just deleted all assign and automation stuff from the definitions I downloaded. I’ll just add them from the Hapax as I need them.

Well I checked all that and removed all the automation I did have, maybe something is held somewhere I can’t find. Is there an easy way to locate this that perhaps I’m not looking at?

That’s a idea, so you edit the file on your Peak definition file on your computer and reimport it? Is it obvious on what I need to change in there to reset these values?

Yeah you can delete everything in the [ASSIGN] and [AUTOMATION] sections of the file. I think that if you reimport a definition on a track that already has assigns in an existing project it won’t remove them though (not 100% sure). You might have to clear them in the assign menu.

Good to know thanks, especially for a new project.

I can’t see anything in the current automation settings via the menu system. Maybe I should copy all to a new track or something.
