Absolute Beginner: Aira T-8 drumlanes?

Hi! Was able to add all the Volca drums to the hapax easily, but having trouble with the Roland Aira T-8. I know these are toys/cheap synths, but I can only seem to get 2 of the percussive sounds (they arent on individual channels like the Volca) and was wondering if there is a way to use all the T-8’s percussion on the Hapax?

You have to assign the correct midi channel and note for each drum lane in Hapax. Hold the ← button to change midi channel and note.

But if you look all percussion is on10

Look for the right note as well

Can you clarify wha you mean

The best way to figure out what is going on is to use 2nd+Live to get the midi monitor and tap pads on the T-8 (with a midi input connected). This will tell you the note numbers and channel everything is happening on.

cool mode, but i know percussion is all on channel 10, says in the manual and on the t-8 settings, but it only plays on pad 1 and 3. think it might be a lost cause

As already stated here, you need to set each track to the correct note. From the T-8 manual:

Been there. It gets easier with time and experience. Just take it step by step.
