Would be really cool to have a double-click on “2nd” to lock it for single hand operations.

Yes please! I found I needed this being a dad to my sleepy kid and holding them in one arm and trying desperately to hold 2nd and press a button one handed. It was a struggle at best.

Or if double click is not possible, an extended press of 2nd locking it “ON” would be cool.

Actually, what would also really help tremendously is 2ND as a momentary pedal button!
I’m adding 2ND and ALL as two additional pedal functions on All my feature requests / suggestions and ideas for Hapax
I really wish manufacturers were more pragmatic about SHIFT buttons and actually put 2-4 (each side - four corners) on the complex / hands on devices such as Hapax.
