We’ve been through this for years with Squarp. It’s what they prefer. Be assured, no one is stopping you or the community from engaging in discussion about feature requests. Look at each of those threads in my prior comment and you’ll see robust discussion about Hapax’s possibilities. I totally agree Squarp could handle this better, but this is the way they have asked the community to engage them for feature requests, so I like to remind people to please submit an official request if something is of particular interest to you.
With all that said, let’s hear it people… what do you want to see happen with Hapax? What could it do better? What is missing? What’s something that a different sequencer is able to do that Hapax could pull off? I like to think that anything that is added to Hapax is not just the individual feature, but that feature multiplied by all of Hapax’s effects, automation, algos, etc! Any single feature is supercharged by Hapax’s routing architecture! So please, get creative… no idea is a bad idea. Let’s have a discussion.
It is leke always when human come ,together…,.
I can understand both sides, but I think we are all on one side!
Squarp should be open to the costumers of there stuff, I think.
And feedback from us , what can be better for a company , as to stay in touch with the people that are buying there stuff!!
@Thibault_Squarp A more stable firmware is always appreciated! Thank you everyone at Squarp for your hard work, and I’m always excited to see what y’all come up with next!
Could you perhaps comment on @MadMcMan and I’s thoughts about chords locked in one track staying locked when switching to another track being expected behavior or a bug? Is this something that’s on your radar as a potential change?
Recently bought a Hapax, and i’m happy to see the continuity of support.
For reference, i’ve migrated from a mix of Octotrack, Live and other sequencers, and this is the most intuitive sequencer i’ve ever used (Cirklon never stuck for me).
Keep those updates (and stability) coming!
Same… I am quite prepared for the next release. Kind of literally I suppose as my studio is probably more connected and functional than it has ever been before.
Release the kraken… er um… firmware… soon… please! I hope it is well before years end, but Squarp firmware releases have made me a very patient man if nothing else.
