Can someone please clarify this setting.
I’ve probably misunderstood.
I have DAW sending MMC/MTC/MidiClock to Pyramid MIDI IN. Pyramid is configured to sync to that.
now when i press play from DAW, Pyramid starts playing. Then i press stop on Pyramid, then play again, and expect playing to start at bar change (every 4 beats or something?).
Instead, it starts immediately, and not in sync with the DAW bar/beat counter.
Is that not how it’s supposed to work?
Honestly, I’m not quite sure what it does yet 
But midi clock does not transmit bar/beat information. so pyramid cannot sync to a bar from an external source. afaik
So not quite sure what the description means… perhaps for internal clock?

I suppose that restart is valid when the sequencer is running and you press the play button only to restart. If you press stop and then play then there will be no sync.
So when you set it to restart in 16th it will continue to play and restart after a 16th note value.
Its useful to perform synced rythmic stutters or resychronize your existing playing patterns if you need to for some reason.
I tested it and confirmed it!
