I’ve been reading different topics about using sidechain enveloppe on Hapax without being able to do anything
Actually I tried something that show it could be very easy to set a sidechain by adding a virtual midi port into the machine
Actually first link your midi OUT D to midi IN A (with a real cable!)
Make your kick , make an enveloppe effect goind to CC09 and add FX output to midi D
Male a bassline on another track and in Matrix, you select CC09 as modultion source, then for example CC10 as destination. then better set depth to -100% and offset to 100 as a start
BUT the problem being that you need to be on the bassline track for this sidechain to work 
Sp if you got back to your kick to set the enveloppe it doesn’t work anymore.
Or maybe someone knows if it’s possible and how to set it ???
But the most simple would just to to add a midi out destination to any effect, with a second page of parameters for exemple
Well I re-tried now with CV Out of the machine going to CV In and it works. Better than midi for the same tricks with too much bugs (mostly the notes of the kick going to the synths)
Exemple: Plug CV 1 Out to CV 1 In
Then FX Enveloppe on your kick going to CV 1 Out
In any other track, you go to the matrix and you set as input CV 1 In and you affect it to the desired parameter
In this exemple I think it’s hearable how it affects different levels or cutoff
Maybe a video tutorial could be better ?
The only problem being that it is the same enveloppe for everything. I think it would just need Hapax adding 16 virtual CV or any other way to do sidechains by just selecting the trigger source for any enveloppe
The actual method with adding tons of outputs, filters, etc is not great at all
