Play don't respond (I am newbie) Help Please!

Good evening everyone. First of all, I’m a new Hermod+ user and I’m having trouble getting the play button to respond.

I go to the Step menu, then I generate a sequence using the generator option in the menu, which randomly assigns notes. After this step, when I press play, the button doesn’t light up or play the generated sequence. It takes me to a window where I have to set the tempo, the clock (which is set to Internal), and then 4 squares, followed by the word “stop.”

What am I doing wrong?

if not, what is your sound source and how is it connected to the Hermod+

This might be a long-press / short-press issue! Some buttons do different things when you press them just a tiny bit longer. (Play, for example gives you the BPM menu)
You can change how long you’ll have to push for that to happen. Somewhere in the settings, I don’t remember exactly where.
