Hi,

In Step Mode, whatever the scale chosen in pScale Project, I can’t enter two octave notes (aka C3 and C4) without using arrow keys to scroll up or down because of the white raws(s) on the pads.

I don’t understand the reason of this choice by Squarp. It’ s very embarrassing to not have directly access to octave notes on the pads without other keys manipulations. Octave notes are frequents in my patterns, and maybe in yours too. 🙂

Is there a way to have this option ?

Nice day to everybody.

RicRog

Because between an Octave there are 12 semitones and there are 8 rows vertically so we have 7 semitones of distance . Try it without pScale enabled and then You can figure it out what am i saying.

Do You know the basics about musical scales? And tranposes?

Yes I’m fine with the scales.

If pScale project is off, we are in chromatic mode with 12 notes for 8 rows.

But when pScale is “on” , major scale for instance, we have 7 notes and the octave could be enabled instead of this white row.

For a pentatonic scale, the 3 white rows could play the notes of the upper octave range.
