Hello, I don’t understand something in the Matrix effect. When you select an external CC as source and an instrument def CC as destination, shouldn’t the source affect destination in Assign and/or Autom? If not it would be great, specially in Assign.
The signal flow is such that ASSIGN, AUTOM, and incoming MIDI are all merged upstream of the Modmatrix. The signal does not flow backwards, so the modmatrix cannot affect AUTOM nor ASSIGN

Such signal flow diagrams are really useful and explain way more within seconds than a thousand words. Maybe you could add it to the manual
