Forgive me if this has been asked.
Is it possible to layer two tracks together, so I could say have my chord progression from track 1 visible on another track (2) to build my melody on top of?
Similar to selecting multiple midi tracks in ableton where they show together in different colours.
Cheers

not in my experience, at least in terms of viewing notes on the grid as a pattern is running. tracks is tracks

Thanks, I couldn’t find anything in the manual but wasn’t sure if maybe I wasn’t searching with correct terms or was missing something.
Cheers for confirming.

Well, there’s a work around, kind of, depending on whether you have notes on the same notes etc.
This will work if they’re in different octaves etc.
You can copy-paste to another track, set chance to 0% on all notes.
Then paste into the other clip.
You’ll see the notes but they wont’ play because chance is 0%.
Might be worth a try!

Interesting. I’ll give that a try.
Cheers!
