How to edit a track when you are in song mode?

Let’s suppose the hermod is in song mode with two seq playing one after the other, seq1 then seq 2 then seq1 etc…
I want to modify one track on the seq 1 i go on this track but when i want to modify it the song go on the seq2 and i have to wait it comes back to seq 1 to modify it. Is there a way to edit seq1 when the hermod is playing seq2?

I don’t believe that’s possible.
I think at the moment we can only edit the active sequence.

I’d love to be wrong though…
