Hi everyone!
I’m new to Hapax and still getting familiar with it. Does anyone know the exact setup to fully control a TR-6S from Hapax? I can only trigger it, but the sequencer still runs on the TR.
Any tips would be really appreciated!
Set the sync out setting on the Hapax to clock only.

heres the definition file, put in folder ‘hapax’ on the SD card as txt (but i hope you have a PC) Instrument Definition: Roland Tr-6S
hold 2nd and the track button to get to the screen where you choose a definition file for that track
enter the ENV/LFO MIDI FX screen or create a new automation lane and choose ‘INSTR DEF’ for the destination, then choose your parameter by name (based on the definition file) instead of number.
make automation or LFO or ENV etc

Or, on the 6s, hit UTILITY, scroll over to Sync/Tempo, select the RxStartStop setting and turn it off.

you may have issues loading the definition file to hapax saved with mac
