Hi together,

does someone know how to use hapax with the octatrack mk2?
I saw some instr.def. and tried them. At least I now can control
the octatrack either as one single instrument (playing around with
slices - see settings below), or a drummachine.
As Drum, I wished to be able to change the slice via CC, but it
seems as if the changing SLx via CC is not reacting due to the
predefined midi note in INST.DEF.
Anyone an idea of how to fix that?

MY OT settings - so far:
PROJECT / MIDI / CONTROL /
AUDIO CC IN - X
AUDIO CC OUT - INT+EXT
AUDIO NOTE IN - FOLLOW TW
AUDIO NOTE OUT - INT+EXT

TRIG MODE (FUNCTION + down arrow):
SLICES (then the slices are reacting to the specific midi note from C1 up to…)

But when I use the drumsetup of Hapax it only plays one slice, even
when I change the Start SL1 to for example SL3 - no changes!

On HAPAX-side - It would be great to just hold a step in stepmode and to
turn one of the encoder to change the individual note of a step to choose
the needed slice…

Try setting the trigger mode to slots instead of slices and you’ll be able to change the SLx via cc.
Midi channel + note will trigger the right slot on a specific track and sending cc’s to the same channel will select the right slice. If you want to do this on the same Hapax track as you send notes with (drum track) you’re only able to do this for the OT track that’s on the same Hapax track channel tho.
