I use the Mute Mix mode all the time to perform songs, and I think it would be really nice to have an option where if I unmute a track, and I happen to do it at the end of a sustained note, but after that note’s NOTE ON message, Hapax doesn’t then generate a NOTE ON message exactly when I unmute, but instead waits for the next programmed NOTE ON in the sequence to start playing. Sometimes when I’m trying to unmute several different tracks in a performance, and I happen to unmute a track during a sustained note, hapax generates a NOTE ON at the time of the unmute, and I almost never want that note to play. I intentionally unmute after the NOTE ON of that note to avoid having it play, so it would be nice for Hapax to always wait for the next NOTE ON message in the sequence after an unmute before it plays. If that were an option I would have it on 100% of the time. The current behavior requires total precision, and messes me up a lot during complex live takes.
