Hapax CV In sync with Logic Pro

I can try to make a dedicated plugin

What is the optimal spec?

A dedicated plugin that works with v3.x to provide clock to the Hapax would be amazing

I haven’t tested v3.10 to see if it works with the Midronome plugin as yet

Omniclock?

Omniclock may work for some folks depending on what you are trying to achieve - for simple sending of audio pulse to drive the clock in of the Hapax, the Midronome plugin (free) has been working beautifully up until v3.0 until it seems something has broken.

@auxinelectro mentions a few other clock plugins; I’ll try the ALM plug tomorrow - assume it’s this one

Yeah that’s the one…

I can’t remember exactly why but I started using the erm version as I used to have the multi clock..

I’ve been using the software version of erm

Same here. I updated to 3.10 and CV In sync seems to have stopped working. I use Logic Pro to send a clock out from my Arturia AudioFuse 16Rig clock output. It used to work well

I hope this is fixed in the next update. I am unable to sync my Hapax to Logic with the CV In anymore.

Please send a bug report into Squarp as per above - this will raise visibility of any potential issues

Anyone tested with v3.10 by chance?

by the way, i use the provided sync sample but cut a single pulse from the phrase instead of re-pitching or warping, and trigger it with a sample playback device at the rate i set hapax to expect it. i would try that instead of playing the whole phrase.

Thank you for this. CV Tools in Ableton has been super laggy on the latest firmware for some reason, but this is running extremely tight!

I did that: Releases · rv0 / SyncUnit · GitLab

Cross platform, open source, and free.
You can configure it to your taste, but it already has a preset at 96ppqn which is what the next release of Hapax will support.
