Hapax 2.0 released over 2 years ago in January 2024, so just wondering if Squarp have ever said anything about when 3.0 is estimated to release, and if any roadmap has been given on what possible features could be included?
I know they recently confirmed that no new hapax hardware revisions are coming anytime soon, and that native XP32 cv expander support is being worked on alongside the upcoming adapter module.
I realize we’re only at version 2.30 which is currently in beta, so it seems 3.0 is still quite a long ways out, but just curious if Squarp have ever mentioned anything about it?

there is no official standard for version numbering, so 3.0 could be the next release which could be tomorrow, or it could be a year from now. Who knows
Yes, but a firmware update with a full number incremental jump like 2.0, 3.0 etc. usually includes major new feature additions, as opposed to just smaller changes, and bug fixes. Looking into this further, it seems Squarp doesn’t typically give many roadmaps of future updates like some other companies do (ie Oxi). Though they did tease some things before the large 2.0 release a couple years ago.
Of course, they are always busy working behind the scenes, and don’t need to disclose future plans, but it would be nice to have an idea on what new features they are planning on implementing for the inevitable 3.0 release, which I imagine should be within the next year or so. 
We practice patience over here. lol

Yes, I see that Squarp can sometimes take a long time for major updates, which is perfectly fine, since I know they are a small team. Just didn’t know if I missed any talk about planned upcoming features, such as the much requested separate pattern lengths for drum tracks (which is something I imagine would possibly be a part of a larger update…like 3.0). 
this forum has the most impatient people ever. They could drop 3.0 anytime or maybe they could just abandon development altogether. That’s the nature of software

There are some good contributors around, but the constant moaning about release timelines and pet feature requests is insufferable, Squarp’s choice to keep the contact form still undefeated.
All I hope is for the non release of Hapax X (glossy drumlanes and forced Suno subscription)

Man, I literally just bought Hapax, and was asking a simple question to see if I missed anything mentioned about future plans for updates.
Noone here was being impatient or constantly “moaning” about anything. My apologies if I offended anyone. Relax…its not that big of a deal lmao 
They said this in the beta 2.30 F thread :
“Our team is currently developing major feature sets for subsequent releases.”

Already did a search, but couldn’t find anything specific about the 3.0 update, so figured I’d ask the community here in case someone did know something they could share (just like i shared the info after messaging with Squarp, where they confirmed the upcoming adapter module needed for xp32 support.)
If you didn’t know anything about the update, then no need to comment saying anyone here is impatient about something, when that isn’t whats happening here. Thanks.
