Encoder sensitivity?

I’m using the 5 encoders to control midi cc (Ableton VST at the moment) and am wondering if this is normal behavior. It takes 4 full range motions of my hands to go from 0 to 127. I tried turning them really fast in case there was a velocity curve but then they are even less sensitive then it seems. A full range motion goes from 0-30 maybe and a quick one goes from 0-12 maybe.

Any way to change the sensitivity of the encoders?

I’ve never known a way to adjust the sensitivity of the Encoders.
