I don’t see nothin in manual how to delete notes directly from live mode ? It is not possible at atll ?
what you are asking doesn’t make sense to me. Live mode is just a view that has chord/drum/keyboard input, it’s not an editor so theres no notes to add or delete.
That being said, if you want to briefly see the steps you can hold the step mode button and remove notes from there, and then release and you should be back in live view

Yep that’s what I do, but even in some old sequencer like RM1x you have a key to hold and then holding a note is deleting all upcoming ones (only for this note) it’s a bit easier and mostly faster than havin to switch all the time from live to step

do you have an rm1x?
I bought it years ago to use it as main sequencer because of so much things I was missing on Elektron (midi delays, multiple notes on a step, groove edit, etc…) but I was missing place in my small truck and also motivation
Now at the moment to plug it back as there was still lots of lacks on this sequencer I asked on random forums about software or hardware sequencer havin this or that and someone talked to me about Hapax so I looked…. and there was FINALLY a sequencer doing almost all I want… except that some people missunderstood for some questions. Like loop points or groove edit.
But there is also so much things I never thought about and I really love on Hapax
Ps: I tried RS7000 some years ago as solving some RM1x problems but didn’t like the workflow for the stupid reason that they removed arrows !! Wich makes mooving unatural in menus and datas (like in edit mode)
Also I quickly forgot about playing samples with filters after trying Analog Rytm as sample reader with analog fitlers !!
“delete + step” should do the trick

Ok I found … it just need to do “undo” but it’s remooving everything. It doesn’t seem like you can delete all of a certain note, or everything while holding a button or so…
What do you mean delete+step ? Deleting in step mode ? I know it’s possible, but I want to delete directly from live mode, without having to stop recording
Look at your beautiful Hapax and you might find out that there is actually a “DELETE“ and a “STEP“ button in there. Pressing that combination while in Live mode might do something.
Ok you mean together ? I thought you talked about going to step mode to then delete notes.
