Data Encoder Problem

hi Folks,

since a while the Master Data Encoder do very hard by pressing ( Rotating is fine)
I have sometimes to press up to 3 times before something happends.
All other Knobs are fine.

Can i fix it by my self ? Is it the beginning from the End ? Where to repair in Germany ?

try pulling the encoder’s cap up a bit (to take it off)
what can happen is over time, the cap can push down tightly and start fouling with the case, lifting it up can alleviate this.
(if this works, you can put a small amount of paper inside the knob which prevents it from sliding as far down again)
