I like to use my hapax with bitwig but what would be really cool if you could change pattern on a track from the DAW is that possible?

There’s no MIDI spec for changes but you can do it in a limited way. In the CV/Gate settings you can set the destination to be next/previous pattern. Then you can send a gate from your DAW. That could be via CV if you’re set up for that already (DC coupled outs or a dedicated module). Or you could use a square wave out, but you may need to play with the levels to get it to behave correctly.

my wish is for arbitrary pattern triggering. but that is possible. i didnt really know that lol
Yeah I’d love to be able to switch to an arbitrary pattern via Program Change or similar. Hopefully it’s at least in the backlog!
