CC automation of section transitions

I’m most of the way to deciding to buy the Hapax.

I’ve looked over the manual and couldn’t find an answer to this question. I’m completely new to hardware sequencers; apologies if I’m phrasing this in an ignorant way.

Is there a way to transition to a particular section of a song using a CC transmitted from another device on my MIDI network?

I’ve used control applications like Camelot Pro to do this, but if I’m investing the money and time in an expensive and powerful device like Hapax, I would prefer to control all my gear fully using the sequencer.

It is not currently possible, but it is likely to be added in the future.
If this is primordial for your use case, then you might want to hold off until it’s implemented.
