Oh gosh, not again :expressionless:.

Absolutely - constructive feedback is invaluable, even if it can sometimes be hard to hear. I not only accept feedback, I actively seek it out through multiple channels:

  • Regular NPS and PFM surveys
  • Weekly operations reviews with our customer support team
  • In-depth customer discovery calls
  • Unfiltered Trustpilot reviews from all customers, not just the happy ones

In fact, we believe so strongly in the power of feedback that we’ve published our internal feedback guidelines publicly.

When someone suggests I’m doing something wrong, my approach is to:

  • Listen with genuine curiosity
  • Seek to understand their perspective fully
  • Carefully consider their input
  • Thank them regardless of whether I ultimately implement their suggestions

This last point is crucial - responding defensively or emotionally to feedback you disagree with only discourages future honest input, which can be detrimental to growth and improvement.

ok well not everybody is on the same page as you are. you must allow this or you might be seen as that guy who wants to grab the steering wheel. squarp has said it wont happen. but ive made this point now and wont interfere further. good luck!
