I am using Plain text editor

nothing changes !!! :frowning:

Hmhh I just checked it again and it still works on version 3 - Do you have still the problem? Sorry I was not here a long time. Cheers Ingo

Is there a way to set this up on the blofeld for when you are in multimode? Would I have to make a separate definition file for each channel in the blofeld multi?

from the manual:

“If you set an instrument definition with a channel number = 0 (instead of 1 to 16), every “not defined” instruments of the selected output will be defined as this definition.”

So if you plug the Blofeld into midi B, then you only need to have one def file on channel 0, set to midi B and you’re good to go for all 16 channels of the blofeld. Too bad the blofeld can’t really perform with 16 parts. I usually do about 3 or 4.

Thanks man! I didn’t realize I could set it up that way. I actually had it running out of midi B so that’s perfect. Would definitely be nice if it could do all 16 at once but lie you said, I don’t think the blofeld can handle quite that much :weary:

Yeah, happy to help. Yeah, it’s certainly moments like these when I wish the blofeld had better polyphony.
Great synth, but with a few complex patches going, the voice stealing is maddening.

Thank you Ingo

You are welcome

Yea, ditto — thank you.

Hey, Is there any Def files available for the Hapax anywhere ?

A Blofeld definition is among the examples provided by Squarp and linked from the manual:
