Can you not just copy paste all that and change the name and channel in the copies, for multitimbral use?

well, yes but that would leave no room for any other gear. I’m talking about specifying several channels per inst definition so that we don’t eat up the precious 8 slots. Yeah, if there were 32 or 64 definitions available, then it wouldn’t be a problem I guess. I imagine there’s a more elegant (and ram friendly) solution than copying the same thing 8 times.

Well, the Blofeld isn’t too great for multitimbral use but 8 definitions is a little too low, I agree.

Slightly off topic: When I sweep a filter on the Blofeld with MIDI CC from Ableton, while the Blofeld is being sent a few simple chords at the same time, it drops notes unless I sweep slowly. I’m using the USB port…

I used a MIDI cable and it works as it should :grinning:

The USB - MIDI implementation is garbage in quite a few synths.

OH Thank you !!!
Yes … Blofeld best use is through midi. The USB generally sucks.
I may say that the multitimbral us of Blofeld is quite nice, while isn’t nice the UI at all !! Different things tho

OK now . I haven’t update yet the Pyramid. And Blofeld is my Synth. My only one. Till now I haven’t set any cc, not for the steps, not for the encoders on Pyramid, and I don’t know where to start. Can someone give me an hint?
Someone can explain me what refers to those 8 slots?
