I’d really like a rhythm effect. The effect would let the user enter in a 16 step rhythmic pattern on the pads and then play a note when the track && and the rhythm effect both have active midi notes. This is a well defined specification so it should be pretty do-able.
I was thinking it would be nice to have different pattern options in the Arp effect, like the pattern options in the Mutable Instruments Yarns.
What you’re describing sounds similar to the Groove Templates on the new Electribes. It applies a pattern to volume/velocity and lets you adjust the depth percentage. This is great for things like hihat accent patterns but can also be used on note sequences. This could be done on the Pyramid with an effect similar to the Randomizer, but if rhythmic patterns were applied in stead of randomization
