What means pause?

  1. STOP: stops the sequencer.
  2. PLAY: plays the sequencer. When pressed in run the sequencer starts from the current sequence
  3. PAUSE ?

in the settings/MISC menu, you can choose (for the Play pad) the following options:
PLAY/PAUSE PLAY/RESTART PLAY/MUTE
