Can't assign touchpad

Hey everyone.

LOVE my Pyramid but have an issue that hopefully someone can help out with.

I’m on OS v2.30

For some reason I can’t assign the touchpad to anything. Encoders work fine.
I’m holding down assign and using the touchpad but nothing happens.
When I do the same for encoders, I get the “Assign encoder to…” menu.

I know that the touchpad is working because I can see that using it changes volume. However, I can’t seem to get it to do anything else.

Anyone know?

Also, I should say that touchpad is definitely switch to “On” in the 2nd settings menu.
